The genre of black metal continues to push its own boundaries, from the “traditional” sounds of Emperor and Burzum, to the Americanized versions of Wolves in the Throne Room and Cobalt. The “atmospheric” vein seems to be the most prolific these days, though, and Lantlôs figures in quite high in the pack of many.
